Hello everyone<p>I am a bit confused and need your suggestion. I am working in an MNC like TCS, Wipro and Infosys for the past 3 months. Now I have got an offer from a small company that works on Ruby on Rails. In TCS I have worked on COBOL on mainframes in TCS. I know java, C, python and MATLAB and have done projects in all of these during my college days while working for open source communities or for internships.<p>I am interested in taking the new offer. However, when I consulted some seniors, they say that brand name of my current company shall be useful to me in the long run. Also, the current MNC is process intensive while the smaller company[about 40-50 people] which I intend to join does not have processes.<p>I want to switch over for the learning that I can get in that company.<p>Please suggest what I should do.
