Gathering data through queries should be a straightforward task and I can imagine this creates value, but understanding the complexities of the data is much more challenging to solve. For example, the fact that business unit A and business unit B have different ways of counting metric X due to a random director's decision made like a decade ago, or that there is a missing two weeks of data from a table due to a load process failure, or that one table's timestamp is in a different time zone compared to all the others, I doubt it could handle<p>As a seasoned Data Scientist, I've witnessed the rise and fall of many tools and technologies. However, I don't believe that we are close to eliminating the need for human involvement. Domain expertise is often underestimated, the time it takes to type a query is overestimated and the number of times you get a random shower thought that makes you realize you've been asking the wrong question all along are countless
