There&#x27;s a part of me that loves this, and loves any UI inspired by older operating systems.<p>Then there&#x27;s the part of me that doesn&#x27;t want to feel like I&#x27;m learning a new operating system when using a website. As much as I can appreciate this, I could easily also see it being polarizing. There&#x27;s a tradeoff between style and ease of use.

As pretty as it is, this is not a page that should transfer 116.28 MB of data while I&#x27;m on it.

The website is nice and original. but i don&#x27;t get the concept or the idea.the menu items don&#x27;t really tell much? or am i missing something ?

Firefox Developer Edition detected a potential security threat and did not continue to www.lucy-ives.com.

Reminds me a bit of <a href="https:&#x2F;&#x2F;breckyunits.com&#x2F;" rel="nofollow">https:&#x2F;&#x2F;breckyunits.com&#x2F;</a> but with more retro chrome for the tiled layout of text.

I really love this! It also looks good on my phone and has given me some inspiration for my own website.

I love the idea but the why escapes me. Is this a curated collection of news or is it a writers blog?
