Stories about new blimps come out a couple of times a year. Some are cargo lifters but most are passenger focused. Pardon the pun, but most have trouble getting off the ground.

I&#x27;d say the TLDR is that airships are neat, but commercially they don&#x27;t make any sense, even if you consider much improved materials of today vs their heyday.
