<i>First, young people have a First Amendment right to information that S.B. 152 will infringe upon.</i><p>Is that true? I was under the impression that all Constitutional rights seem to apply primarily to adults, and that their application to children is handled on a kind of ad hoc basis.<p>Also, does the First Amendment guarantee a right to information? There&#x27;s &quot;speech&quot; and all that, but the Supreme Court has made it pretty clear that you don&#x27;t have any rights not specifically guaranteed by the letter of the law.<p>It would certainly be <i>just</i> if kids had the right to access information and speak and all that, but we&#x27;re talking about law, not justice.

The thing is, Utah&#x27;s Governor is impossibly excited to sign this into law as soon as possible.
