I was curious until he started getting into technophrenology by &quot;asking&quot; ChatGPT for answers on why. He also does not explain <i>how</i> the asset tracing is even possible. Somehow, I trust the league of established papers on Monero weaknesses (none of which have successfully been used) than this.

Looks like we are going to see this kind of investigations &quot;asking GPT-4&quot; to confirm or not assumptions just like we had &quot;after a quick search on Google&quot; for a few lusters.

It is a well known fact that various law enforcement&#x2F;intelligence agencies will try to establish ties with people in such positions.

The point of cryptocurrencies is that it doesn&#x27;t matter how sketchy the founder is or how stupid there motives were. The ledger isn&#x27;t under their control.<p>It isn&#x27;t all that unexpected that the Monero founder is weird and has a colourful backstory. He&#x27;d have to be odd to found a project like Monero. It is darkly funny if he was then trying to leverage his leadership position to directly scam people though.
