China reports human case of H3N8 bird flu

BNONews has been making a dashboard for every maybe-virus the past year (recently they had Monkeypox and some other one, Marburg maybe)? None of those turned into any major problem. They're pandemic profiteering, so while I appreciate the data they're collecting, I'm not quite ready to start freaking out about it.

Note: this is the 3rd case since 2022. Had exposure to poultry before falling ill... so no confirmed human-to-human spread.

I thought we were watching H5N1 which showed up in some humans in Cambodia last month?

How does it make sense for humans to get this flu from birds, become symptomatic, but not pass it on to at least their sexual&#x2F;kissing partners?

Coming out of China..what a surprise. Just wall off that country and the world would be a whole lot safer.
