Web Standards: Fixing the Issue

2 点作者 dtorres超过 13 年前
HTML5 and CSS3 are implicit standards and no one can deny it.
The Web moves fast, so does developers and hopefully the users.
HTML5 and CSS3 became standards as soon as they were supported by most browsers so, here is the idea:
- Keep drafting, is good.
- As soon as you feel a drafted feature is good, implement it, with AND without prefix. (Or better yet, only w/o the prefix)
- If there is already a draft for a feature you have and is good, stick to it.
- As soon as 75% of the browsers (or another fair big number) have implemented that feature it becomes a standard. Period.
Sincerely, A simple developer
