It sounds like these new CO2-absorbing salts are (<i>probably</i>) harmless enough for home, office, and personal use.<p>If so...Idea: Develop CO2-reducing "filter" products for home/office/personal use, and market them as personal-performance-enhancing devices - by playing up the (many) research studies which have shown that high CO2 levels seem to cause all sorts of problems with cognitive performance, sleep, mood, etc. What wealthy, successful, or wanna-be-those-things person would ever want to under-perform because they're breathing too much CO2?<p>And if that was a big success...well, if most of the rich/powerful/successful folks are breathing through CO2-reducers, then the whole "pumping up the atmospheric CO2 level by freely burning fossil fuels is not <i>really</i> harmful..." lie gets a whole lot less convincing, doesn't it?
