yes the blockchain is what gaming needs to make it more fun.
I think gaming stopped being fun (for me) when i played breath of the wild, which was arguably a fun game, but actually its a microtransaction game without microtransactions. Your weapons run out. You are constantly grinding to cook random things so that you can be warm or cold or whatever. You are unlocking all the towers with puzzles. None of it is bad, it was in fact quite fun to play. But it didn't really feel like a game with a narrative that was someone's vision of an epic story. It felt kind of like what the game suggests throughout, link is trapped in a simulation run by some ancient computer that nobody controls any longer. And what is strange about all this is that it was designed with the same principle as the original zelda game, that you are simply out exploring in the backyard or in the forest except its a bit more fantastically real then your imagination was as a kid.
Maybe i just moved on from games and the blockchain is the real solution. I have no idea.
