Context: I have always been part of smaller setups for the last decade and was fairly good at what I did. I have had help from a Senior Architect in my previous jobs and I would focus on getting things done with the teams I led. I recently got a plush job to lead a large platform team in a big tech company (spotify/uber-scale). There is a lot of tech which is new to me (k8s, aws internals and a lot of SRE heavy stuff). I am confident I will eventually do well but wanted to get some advice from folks here on how can I structure my learning and onboarding better. What core topics (tech/non-tech) should I focus on to be successful in this team?
