War crimes evidence erased by social media platforms

When you&#x27;re a global company that has to balance between cozying up with other countries to keep relations and catering to advertisers - it&#x27;s not surprising to see them take an overabundance of caution and outright remove videos like that.<p>It&#x27;s a shame that they feel they need to do that for the ultimate goal of more profit - but I guess that&#x27;s the way these silicon valley companies operate.<p>Remove all violence, remove all controversial content, remove anything that might make someone think about what&#x27;s going on in the world around them - instead, why don&#x27;t you look at these advertisements!<p>Social media become a mistake when society let corporations own it and control it.<p>There should be a way for users to view videos that have been taken down that violate terms of service after the fact - minus anything that&#x27;s by law illegal (CSAM, etc).
