The New Obsidian Icon

I hate people that complain about logo redesigns, but I audibly groaned when I saw this amorphous blob icon.<p>I like how sharp the old logo looked, so this feels too rounded and squiggly by comparison.<p>The adjustable colors are nice though. Hopefully it grows on me.<p>At least it isn’t another four-primary-colors app like Slack or Google, etc.

It looks great! Also, as a former Dynalist user and current Logseq user I must mention how impressed I am by Obsidian&#x27;s growth. How are they doing it? It&#x27;s the first time I hear about a notes app I like from outside of very niche circles.

I prefer it to the crystal&#x2F;glass shard previous concept. The ability to customize the colours is appreciated because I can bypass my irrational hatred of the colour purple.<p>Aside from aesthetic preferences, I like their design logic. Good job.

I kinda love it? Especially the shaded version. Unique!
