You can't really sell a service around SPAs: once compiled, a SPA is a single JS file that can be hosted for free anywhere. But a server-side rendered app needs a server to run. And a server is a product that can be sold."<p>I agree with this 100% - a lot of the JS ecosystem is really marketing by tech influencers who want to sell stuff. That's there is always a new shiny tool around the corner. The VCs need to recoup their investment.
