UFO ‘whistleblower’ says government has ‘intact’ non-human craft

Somehow I find the fact this is coming from an Intelligence officer, that has testified before Congress under oath, and is now calling for whistleblower protection, more convincing than a random hack that is trying to sell a book.
But obviously, the fact that he might be acting in good faith does not mean that he is right, there are plenty of possible reasons why he could be wrong or have been lied to, since he doesn't seem to have first hand knowledge but only hearsay or indirect knowledge from other people or documents.
Hopefully, they're will be some sort of investigations based on what he is claiming. From what I understand he would have been allowed to provide specific names or document to Congress, so that should be pretty straightforward to check if everything is made up or not.
Otherwise, we will see soon enough when his book is coming out.

This feels like some high level gaslighting. Grusch is either telling the truth as he knows it (and he could be being deceived by higher ups) or he's being deceitful in the way that "former" intelligence have been known to be. The other option is that the story is actually true (unlikely) and we're being lied to on an incomprehensible level.

The commonsense thing about all this alien/ufo stuff, is with everyone having a phone in their pocket, lots of solid footage would exist by now.
The 1950's concept of a government conspiracy able to cover up all evidence from the public does't hold water in the age of the smart phone imho.

I just hate not knowing what to believe... If it's real, screw all the politics, I want to read about the tech, biology, and origin. It's not about who's right, but what's right.
