Three years ago, Google asked me for additional authorization to access my Gmail account, in the form of a question - 'what is the number of your library card'. Unfortunately, I've completely forgotten the answer and I'm sure that I've been entering the correct password all along. This led to me losing access to many services.
One of the few services still accessible and critically important to me is Discord, where my account was set up using the aforementioned Gmail. I manage a company account on Discord, where we have many employees, and host crucial business-related conversations. Moreover, I own multiple communities, and losing this account would mean the disappearance of all private messages within those communities.
Recently, on a new device, I encountered a situation where I could not log into Discord because unauthorized access was detected.
I have reached out to Google many times, but unfortunately, they haven't responded to any of my messages. I have also contacted Discord's support, but they said they couldn't help with this issue.
Any advice or guidance on what I should do in this situation would be deeply appreciated.
----
This is how Discord responded last time
Hey there,
Due to strict privacy and security concerns, we're only able to discuss account details with the email associated with that account. If you do not have access to the email associated with the account, we have no way to verify your ownership of the account through email communication.
If you've lost access to this email, sadly you will not be able to recover your Discord account and your best bet would be to make a new account to continue using Discord. If possible, you may try to recreate the email account and contact us again, if that is an option available to you.
Sincerely,
