Clicked on the link expecting it to be a discussion about energy systems on lunar expeditions, or challenges, something like that.<p>Instead I found it to be a product for &quot;endless energy&quot;? Scrolled to see &quot;your time machine has arrived.&quot; Scrolled further to discover the team has &quot;talented people&quot;, then that I could design my system today. Clicked &quot;Explore system&quot; and found the explanation for what this product is and the option to reserve: it&#x27;s a &quot;clean energy break&quot;!<p>Seriously, why does a company page for a _battery_ take scrolling through pithy Apple-style marketing language and multiple clicks to discover that we&#x27;re talking about a _battery_?

I really like how finding out what the hell this is takes multiple clicks and a bunch of scrolling through screen-filling blank space. That&#x27;s my favorite feature of any website.

Let’s recap: - not something related to the Moon - a battery that’s only available in US - no pricing and details at all but a form for email nurturing

I assume this is like Tesla PowerWall which is sold by SolarCity together with their panels?<p>Can knowledgeable HNers tell me, as I am actually in the market now for such a system and Tesla doesn&#x27;t ship to my corner of Europe, what sort of battery should I be looking for (Litium, deep cell, etc.)? What software and hardware do I need? Is there some sort of solar panel I should be looking for? Are there any companies that sell a good unit that the local electrician could install?
