2023 has been like trying to capture sand in your fist. Before my two year old wakes up, thought of planning out what should the goals and objective of my next quarter look like around health, wealth and wisdom. This is much easier at work - where we have defined areas of focus. But overwhelmed when trying to capture rest of life - I end up doing todo list, and have panic attacks at the sheer amount of stuff not done.
Reviewing Cal Newport's framework and Tim Ferris's fear setting.
Any practical tips?
I never got around to planning and reviewing my life as I meant to - but there is a “life wheel” I forget where I heard it from. It breaks life into the big buckets like Wealth, Health, Friendships, Career etc I think there’s 8. You could then set goals and review against those. I will get to it next year ;)
