One time while I was unemployed and actively seeking employment, I applied to a temp agency for clerical work, and I had put in my résumé that I knew Word, Excel, and that I typed 100wpm. So they called me in for an in-person interview, and they had some qualifying tests set up where I needed to demonstrate that Word/Excel knowledge, which I did readily. And then they said they wanted me to take a typing speed test: "we want to see what 100wpm looks like!" so I think they really, really disbelieved my claim, but I proved that one true as well, and then they rejected me and sent me away empty, because they said I probably wasn't a good fit for any of the jobs they had. Thanks.
