Seems the main summary is &quot;housing costs.&quot; Makes a ton of sense with the backdrop of work from home policies that places were exploring during the pandemic.<p>I am curious on heating&#x2F;cooling costs on the homes. Article calls out the size differences, but bigger is usually more expensive to maintain. I suppose it depends what part of CA you are moving from?<p>And good luck to all the locals that may be getting priced out of homes now. My understanding is folks moving out of CA generally have an absurd amount of buying power, and aren&#x27;t nearly as intimidated by high costs. I&#x27;m curious how much of that is accurate, versus &quot;sour grapes&quot; in other areas.
