Ideas are cheap, commodity markets are merciless, and the expertise/experience/scale moat around aluminum smelting is deep, wide...and probably full of hungry lawyers.<p>Is there any reason why a person who was familiar with that industry might think that giving you money could turn out well for them?
If you have a new technology, you should go for patents and monetize those.<p>If you don't have a new technology, why do you think you can compete with established players?
