While we may sneer at the idea of pampered tycoons pouring imemse sums into hourly fecal testing or whatever, these are actually what drive things forwards for the rest of us. After all, who would study life extension otherwise? It wouldn't be done for the sake of ordinary people (who needs us around to cause trouble after we're no longer useful), and govt bureaucrats havent the authority to do so either (unless in some covert program).

Brian Johnson is an interesting case. If you've got the money, certainly the thought "can I live longer?" crosses your mind, but no one has so far committed to the lifestyle "required" to live longer. Ignoring whether anything Johnson does is actually working, he's obsessive over his self image and his ability to claim his "blood work looks like an 18 year old's"
It's also interesting how he's clearly had facial plastic surgery, but is less keen to mention that amongst all the vitamin infusions and blood transfusions he's undergoing on a daily basis.

This is just my opinion based on what little I know of his protocols but I think he's getting ripped off. I do about half of what he does and I think most people could afford it at the risk of having to buy two or three less shiny things. Unlike him I am not publishing where I landed because it will vary by person. Each person should binge-read everything on nih.gov and binge watch a bunch of doctors, scientists and researchers on Youtube. The data is all within reach. Given how crazy accurate people get with football stats I expect people can become amateur physicians.

> My mind was always a rascal and doing things that were self destructive in nature (...)
> he commits to about 100 protocols each day to reverse his biological age, including taking 61 pills each day, eating 70 pounds of vegetables every month, and adhering to 8:30 p.m. bedtimes. It’s costing him $2 million a year.
hmmmm...

I am a trans tech person who strongly suspects this person will transition based on pattern recognition of other software people I’ve known transitioning.
