I have been wearing hearing aids for about 10 years now and have always bought the Kirkland model for affordability. Since that has now been discontinued, I am broadening my search.
Does anyone know who has the best chips in hearing aids right now? I am looking at prescription only and by best I mean clarity, sound discrimination etc. With the advances in ML and semi-conductors the last several years I am wondering if anyone is out in front.
If anyone knows of any technical discussions they could point to it would also be appreciated.
Costco is the largest distributor of hearing aids in the U.S., there are good terms on checkups and adjustments and replacements. Their prices are significantly below going to an audiologist--a coupleof years ago, their house brand cost $1500 for a pair of hearing aids.
Suggest you check on Costco's offerings. A TV review some years ago showed they were cheaper than other providers with a complete patient fitting.
