How far along has this technology and science evolved? Have we repaired birth defects in humans yet? Can we use this to make an adult human repair itself in ways otherwise thought not possible yet or perhaps very soon? How many people are working on this? The reason I ask is that despite the video having just been uploaded I recall watching this some time ago. I may have even saved it. How far are we from cracking the bioelectrical code? Is there a website that is tracking the progress and accepting donations?
I would also like to see Michael Levin's views on the work by Prof. Thomas Seyfried on cancer as a metabolic disease [1]. Specifically does Thomas's work reference the mechanical structures that Michael is talking about as an augmentation rather than conflicting concepts?
[1] - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=06e-PwhmSq8 [video][44 mins]
