A great paper. It mentions Lighthill? Gets my uptick.<p>I'd add a fifth fallacy to the 4: absence of a theory of mind. "It just works" is not a theory. "Moar" is not a theory. Without a theoretical underpinning of why its intelligent, how can you ascribe building blocks towards it? Remember, dolphin brains are physically bigger than ours. Size isn't everything, although richness of interconnects may be, but how they prune and work requires a theory to be modelled.
