I know next to nothing about vision, eyewear, graphic displays, etc. With that being said, is it possible to "correct" a screen for someone with vision problems? Simple example, for someone who requires "readers" later in life could the operating system adjust the display to the user's prescription and eliminate the need for the corrective lenses?
Not with a normal kind of screen, at best you could blow the image up or increase the contrast or change the colors to help people are colorblind.<p>Maybe a light field or holographic display could make the light rays converge just like they would from something very close or far away to correct nearsighted or farsightedness but talk about speculative technology...
