It was such a great filesystem at the time.<p>There is somewhere out there a synopsis of linux filesystems from quite a while ago that describes reiserfs as no longer being actively developed as its creator is "pursuing other interests".

Was there anything special about ReiserFS specifically vs other filesystems? I recall it had issues dealing with ReiserFS filesystem images.
