This shouldn’t be all that surprising to people. We were a couple months into the pandemic, and we heard companies extolling the benefits of remote work.<p>This was presumably based on;
1) short term data
2) a desire to keep their company valuations high
3) a workforce that already knew their jobs and colleagues very well from years of working in person
4) remote workers with pretty much nothing better to do but work<p>It’s 3 years later. It’s curious that many online commenters were only willing to buy the first set of statements through.
