That could work for high volume RSS feeds too, or an “auto mark as read if older than X”. I’m not sure if any RSS reader supports those.<p>What I do is simply unsubscribe from more stuff. Cut the FOMO¹, embrace the JOMO². When I open my feed reader the goal shouldn’t be to feel dread of everything in there, but to have no more than a handful of things I truly want to check.
