Back in the old days Apple Maps was terrible and Google Maps was great, people laugh at you for using Apple Maps.<p>Then Google started using Waze recommendations which navigated cars to dangerous routes, also added those UX “improvements”, made Google Maps on a declining slope for years. On the contrary, Apple Maps is getting better on every iOS release, of course fewer people would want to install Google Maps.<p>Blaming a competitor taking traffic without a retrospective understanding what you did wrong, what can go wrong with that?
