I can hardly think of any better example on how much the legacy media has fallen than with how they treat Sy Hersh. They applauded him, they had high respect for him, they were always willing to offer him the front page for his superb investigative reporting ...<p>The fact that he had to go to Substack to publish the Nordstream investigation and that they all ran hitpieces on him as soon as he came out with this is such a clear display or how disconnected they are and how they are nothing more but government propaganda. They all turned on him, they acted like he was a different person now. A clear sign of the disconnect of the legacy media and how they are dying. Only government mouthpieces who want to work in legacy media now, all the truth tellers are working for alternative media now or self publish like Hersh does. And I am not complaining, goood riddance! We need no editor and other gatekeepers who bury important stories, who check back with the government if its OK to post or ask for edits from them. Who instantly dismiss everything that exposes government crimes as "conspiracy theory" no matter the seniority and reputation of the reporter.
