In 2019 I had a Carolina Reaper because my teenage cousins dared me and it caused me a severe (possibly anaphylaxis) reaction. I was convinced I was going to die, I didn’t go to hospital because I was in a different country and didn’t have insurance. Never again will I eat hot peppers. So traumatised.
