I am glad the letter he signed recognized that "there is no contradiction between staunchly opposing the Israeli subjugation and occupation of Palestinians and unequivocally condemning brutal acts of violence against innocent civilians. In fact, every consistent leftist must hold both positions simultaneously"<p>His take is more balanced than that of many others who are in the thick of it and for whom the stakes are real.<p>I think his criticism of the letter signed by the actors, however, falls a bit short of the mark, at least based on what is quoted here.
