Ask HN: Anyone else getting overcharged by Aliexpress lately?

I use Aliexpress quite extensively. Amazon never caught up here in Europe and most likely never will. I never had issue with Ali. Its only downside is the waiting time(21 days on average). Anyway, in my last three orders I have noticed discrepancy in what amount I am shown and what amount I got charged. With first two orders, I have attributed it to the coins that you can collect for discounts. In your cart you can select individual items to pay for and so I did that and saw different prices than I paid and I thought it was because I ordered two items at once so the coins got applied differently. I contacted the support but cancelling the orders seemed fastest solution.<p>Yesterday I made another order and today I noticed the discrepancy again. This time there were no discounts or coins involved, it was just wrong. I see the large amount in the order itself but e-mail and in message notification i see the lower amount, just like with the previous orders. I have contacted the support again, but it was useless eve nwhen I provided screenshots. The order got shipped and it was only little over €1 so I can live with that but I will not accept this behavior willingly going forward. So I am wondering whether I am alone in this or they indeed have a bug in their system?
