Specifically, if you are a logged in user, and have already visited or commented on a post, if someone later posts that same link again, HN doesn’t show it in your list of recent upvoted posts?

I've always thought that a better idea would be for HN to not permit an article already posted to be posted again until at least a week (preferably a month!) has passed.<p>I'm always annoyed to see the same article posted half a dozen times or so within the space of a day. That also splits up the comments so that most are never seen.
That's interesting. Could it be a chrome extension? I was thinking of a chrome extension that would hide links on either hn or lobste.rs depending on where you see it second.
