In last couple of months I chatted with 50+ founders who are using DocSend. And also found a number of other signs which make me think about it.
Like, lack of response from support of DocSend and twitter complains
Which probably could be nothing special, for such a big company, I also receive lack of support from other big SaaS.
On 11th of October Dropbox also shared a tweet, with product updates for individuals which includes ALL features of Docsend:
"We’re also launching new plans that empower individuals and teams to grow their business. From PDF editing to eSignatures, document analytics, video collaboration and more, you can save time by managing all your content in Dropbox"
Is it some kind of transition?
Just yesterday I saw the random tweet mentioning "Dropbox is killing Docsend"
Why do I even care?
Because we are building an open-source alternative to DocSend
If this is true, it can of course influence our startup activity
What do you think? Any thoughts?
