Last year-ish, I followed a series of instructions for a project to install linux somewhat "from scratch" on a computer, but I quickly reimaged it after. It was a fun experience though.
The project I followed wasn't the official "Linux from Scratch". I remember the project had its own version of package-info / some kind of distribution for make/install scripts to compile all the dependencies/userland. The project website was in a monospace font and had some ASCII art.
I know this is pretty vague, but I'm hoping to find this project again, or another Linux from Scratch derivative that's worth doing. Any ideas?
Was it KISS Linux?
https://kisslinux.org/
It has been discussed here several times:
https://hn.algolia.com/?q=KISS+linux
