Oh the irony. iMessage is free for Apple users and android users have to pay $2/month to get blue bubbles on Apple devices, sparing Apple users the eyestrain of white text on bright green background.<p>I have offered friends older Apple gear (iOS 12.1 required, or 10.14 Mojave on Mac) so that they can group FaceTime, and not have to use zoom.
