If you take a frozen pizza, add spices and extra cheese and better toppings; you can have a pretty good meal with less effort than a homemade from scratch pizza, and not much more expense.<p>We buy the "cheese" red barons as premade pizza bases for this purpose. The DiGornio is much spendier for not much better: with the exception of their "Pan pizza" which is $10 but worth it.<p>We've done home made / froze for later pizza crusts a few times, its a lot of work and we haven't got a great result yet.
