Ask HN: Did anyone else's performance review suddenly move to December?

I work for one of the FAANG. My annual performance review was supposed to happen in January 2024, but it was unexpectedly moved to December. My friend at Salesforce had the same thing happen. Is this happening at your company too?

I'm curious how widespread this is. Is this a coincidence or maybe is it caused by on coordinated pressure from activist investors?
