Archive link [0]<p>I'm confused about the timeline of jumping from Adept to Essential, and ignorant as to the implications. Adept still hasn't released a product and its $350m Series B was only in March, shortly after Vaswani and Parmar exited. Notably, Adept also used to employ Tri Dao who is now at Together and has credibly advanced transformers with Flash Attention and has laid groundwork for post-Transformers-only models with Together's recent StripedHyena[2].<p>Do they keep the equity from Adept while trying to build a competing company?
