I honestly can't imagine what the point is. Hydrogen just isn't a very good idea. The only people pushing it are fossil fuel producers, trying to hang on to a way of staying relevant ("blue hydrogen" made from fossil fuels.<p>And yet TFA says the American Petroleum Institute is grumpy, because they want the program to give them more money. So who exactly is this making happy?<p>I guess money spent on research is never truly wasted. We can hope something unexpected appears; it happens all the time.
