>Have you ever wondered what your life would be like without a smartphone?<p>No, because despite using mobile devices since the mid 1990s (carphones, text pagers, 2-way pagers, "feature" phones), I've only had a smartphone for a few years (forced by the end of 3G support for my cell phone).<p>I don't read or send email on my smartphone, I don't conduct financial transactions (except Uber a few times a year), I don't log in to anything. Just maps, texts with people I know, photos, and some MP3 files. And occasional web surfing if I am stuck in a waiting area in public.
