LK99 seems unusual in that claims about it aren't like those made for most other superconductor claims which are quickly verified or debunked or are soon retracted, it keeps bouncing back like Phoenix rising from the ashes.<p>It seems to me there's enough anecdotal evidence to suggest there's something unusual about this material that makes its properties difficult to replicate and or which are poorly understood. Perhaps time should be spent researching why different batches yield different properties before worrying about superconductor properties, if any.
