I wonder if anything can make Boeing start in a 737 replacement. Why is it we kept getting wide body after wide body but haven’t had innovation in the narrow body airliners that carry most of the traffic and are responsible for most of the social and environmental impact of aviation?<p>I rode in an an Embraer E-Jet, not even an E2, and it felt like riding in Buck Rodger’s spacecraft compared to the 737. Like a Japanese car compared to an American car in the 1970s, if felt bigger inside even though it is a smaller plane. Airlines badly don’t want you to know that a better flight experience is possible because customers might start demanding it.
