It's the old dilemma.<p>Do we invest billions of dollars on infrastructure before it's actually needed, or do we play 'frantic catch-up' when we get too far behind?<p>I, for one, will never buy an EV until there is sufficient infrastructure to support buying one.<p>And the biggest infrastructure shortcoming that nobody appears to be addressing is the lack of a sufficiently robust electrical grid that will support charging hundreds of millions of EVs on a 24/7 basis.
