GeoWorks Geos: The Other Windows

I loved GeoWorks, it was simple to use and didn&#x27;t seem to be as much of an effort than Windows. At one point I had an HP laptop (LX something) that I used, it was pretty small for the time and easy to carry.<p>It would be similar to Microsoft Works (which I also used).<p>I vaguely remember there was a brick like computer that ran GEOS, etc on it.

In Portugual it used to be shipped on Phillips computers, on the offered software package.<p>Had a mate that used to talk about it all the time, to our puzzled looks from Amiga and DOS&#x2F;Windows 3.x users.

I heard so much about GEOS but never used it. Did anyone here ever use it a lot? I would be interested to hear about their experience
