There's enough emergency flights around the world each year that you could likely have a daily headline every single day, every single year, highlighting them, if you wanted to. It seems like now the "if you wanted to" has been triggered.<p>However, does HN get a front page post every time Airbus or any other manufacturer has something break or has an emergency landing? Why not?
