According to a Danish article on the subject,[1] it was the police who moved him through the passport area, because he had been in the Schengen area for too long (90 days) and needed to return home. But they basically left it up to him to figure out how to return home.<p>That's not completely ridiculous, since there are infamous cases of people who had lived at airports for years, because of similar situations. What's different here is that he managed to trick himself through onto a flight.<p>For the past decade, CPH has had automated security turnstiles before security that checks your boarding card. Here he managed to sneak in behind an unsuspecting passenger.
