One thing which caught my eye in this is that he says this is largely a US problem:<p>> “The office market has an existential crisis right now,” which is largely a US phenomenon because workers haven’t gone back to their desks, Sternlicht said Tuesday at the iConnections Global Alts conference in Miami Beach.<p>I am curious as to why workers in other countries are more likely to stop working remote. Smaller homes to work from? Shorter commutes? Better availability of public transport for commutes? Other reasons?
